The nice bunch of grapes of Merlot, once matured, are harvested, pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature for 6/7 days to ensure the wine maintains the most of flavour extraction.
Colour: Deep ruby red.
Scent: Elegant, with a light hint of grass, typical of red or black fruits.
Taste: Always well balanced, full bodied with a fine tannic flavour.
To accompany with: Versatile enough to be enjoyed with many different dishes especially with mushrooms or radicchio risottos, roast, game or grilled meats.
Alcohol: 12,50% vol.
Best served at: must be served at 16 – 18° C in red wine goblets
